About

Some facts about me:

• At my first place of work I used an exotic programming language called SQLWindows, so it's hard to surprise me with "unusual" syntax.
• I was lucky to celebrate the New Year of 2000 three times - by Russian, Finnish and Norwegian time. Believe me, it was much harder to set up a video conference in 2000 than it is today :)
• My first program written in C++ was a fully-functional proxy server running as Windows NT service and logging all the activity to the database. Funny thing is that this program was only 16kb in size.
• Since then, the language that I use most is PHP.
• I have participated in development of more than 300 sites.
• My nick was born during long nights spent with Civilization :)
